11 Type Explorations:
(Here is a quick overview of the me using the Joanna Typeface and using different patterns & brushes.)
FURTHER EXPLANATIONS AND RESEARCH:
Calligraphy Brush:

The Calligraphy brush was the first brush I had used and found it to be quite easy to work with and I quite like how it looks especially the one in Khaki green for the texture of the brush looks smooth. I also dressed it with serifs too.
Art Brush:

Now with these ones, I had used the art brush using the outlines from the textures from my place. I used textures that had come from trees, water ripples and the deck. My favourite would have to be the light brown one. With the brown one, it still felt quite readable and it reminded me of the branches of the trees how they all come in different size and come out of the tree in different ways. I found this exploration to be quite interesting and would like to go back to this.
Pattern Brush:

I had cropped a small part of my texturised images so that I was able to create a pattern out of it.

I found the pattern brush to be quite interesting . For the pattern brush, I had used the pattern that Adobe capture had created to see what it would like like.
Type Exploration tested:
Here are a few screenshots of how the explorations looked in the form of the name of my place. I quite liked how they all came out. They all were quite unique and had a different feel to them. Although, one of the patterns I had tried doing is not as readable as I would like it to be so I probably would not go back to that one. (The circular pattern is the one I am referring too.) Other than that, I liked the others and want to try use at least one of them for my publication. (I would probably need to tweak them a little bit.) Moreover, in terms of the keywords, I think I need to do more research or find the right words that match the explored typeface.
