Photography Exploration (Week 3-4):

Overview of Photos taken:

For this week, I decided to go and visit my place, and as I walked around the Lake I did a quick photoshoot. Through the photoshoot, I tried to capture the place’s natural essence. I took photographs from high angles and low angles to get different perspectives of the place. I also tried to take some close up shots of the plants, leaves and rocks from the place. Moreover, I think that I’m going to chose a few of these photographs and play around with them by editing them. (Also, I was wondering if I could add small illustrations to the photographs or simply play with the idea of illustrating later on.)

Edited photographs:

For these photographs, I just played around with lighting and a bit of contrast and colour but not sure yet how I am going to edit these photographs to fit my theme. When I edited the photographs, I just wanted to emphasise the natural features of the location. But I think if I were to re-edit these photographs, I would make them less dark, so they look more peaceful.

But here are my chosen photographs from my place that I had edited. I think I did not want to change the colours too much of the photographs but just enhance its natural features but I would most likely come back to edit them some more or try come up with more editing ideas when I make my typeface.
