Updated Icon Designs:
After receiving some feed from classmates, I decided to take their advice and play around with the colours. The changes that I have decided to make were to do with the colours of the icon backgrounds. Looking back, I thought that the colours were a bit too bright which did not seem to represent the peaceful atmosphere. So, I decided to choose a more calming green tone for the background.
For my final icon design, I had decided to go with this image of a person and the tree mind. I feel as if this connected more with the ideas and research I was going into to represent my place. ‘Connection between mind and place.’ (Mind and Nature- which resembles my place.)
