My Cinemagraphs: (Week 7)

Here is my first exploration of trying out cinemagraphs. With this cinemagraph, I took it near one of the walkways of the Lake.

This is another cinemagraph attempt that I had tried, showing the still movement of the water while everything else around it stands still. I think that this one came out quite nice and this showcases the pace and the slow movement of the place.

Moreover, I could adjust the shadows a bit more for the bush on the left of the cinemagraph for I think it’s a little bit too dark.

This attempt was of a plant shadow but to me, it did not turn out as how I wanted it to. I had thought that the movement of the ferns shadow would be more obvious once I would make it into a gif but the movement is a bit too small to the movement where you can’t really tell that its moving.

After having tried out some, I think the first two were the ones that I had liked more. In saying this, I am considering a re-do and trying to explore some more with cinemapgraphs of my place.

Recent explorations:

This other attempt could have been better, I don’t think my camera was still enough because this time I tried it without a tripod and it really taught me how much a tripod is needed to keep the camera still. So, I’m thinking of giving this another go because I think that the reflection looks nice as well as the movement of the water ripples.
