The Process, experience, exploration and trials:

After having finished my character designs and gamification canvas, I had started to explore UNITY 3D and see what it is like by watching the tutorial with Nivia as well as the links given by her. Moreover, I found the system not to hard to work with in terms of knowing where things are but the system it self kept crashing every time I had tried to play the game and see what the movement looks like which was quite difficult and frustrating but I had learnt to save every step I do so that if it turns off, I did not loose the work that I did.

In regards to the game process, I found it quite interesting how you can make a game without coding and just by scripts and adding components. Through the tutorials, I was able to see some components like jump, rotate and other movements which I am thinking of using for my game. I’m still wondering if I’m going to be using ‘bullets’ to shoot or another way of defeating my enemies, I’ll probably just have a test and play around with my background and test it out.
Reflection: Overall, UNITY 3D wasn’t too complicated to go around but it was the system itself that made my experience working with unity 3D difficult. But I’ll give it a go with my characters and background and test out the components. Moreover, I’ve decided to keep my game much like a Mario style length wise game rather then going up to the sky as I want my user to experience the space and layout of my place- Lake Panorama.
