Test 1:
So the first trial that I tried was of my friend’s long drive away, I think it came out quite interesting and from this exercise gave me a better understanding of what a hyperlapse is. From this exercise, it felt quite similar to a time lapse but is like a moving time lapse which is taken in shots from slightly different distances (getting closer to the object that it’s focused on.), creating an interesting and cool effect.
If I were to re take this, I would try my best to keep my hands more still as well as used a grid so it looks less shaky.
Test 2:
After, having tested out making a hyperlapse, I decided to give it another try in my backyard. This time I used a grid which helped the hyperlapse look cleaner then the first trial but I’ll most likely try this again and take more shots.
Trial 3:
So I gave my backyard hyperlapse another go and reshot it to try make it look better, as well as took more shots so that it would be able to reach a longer hyperlapse moving image. I think that this one came out better then the second trial for not only was the weather better, but this one did not look as rushed as the second trial.
Extra Edit Try: I was curious to see what it would look like if I reversed the hyperlapse so instead of going forward, you were moving backwards. (But I also added the original one in this video too.)
After trying a reversed hyperlapse, I think that this could be an interesting perspective/ edit to play around with and could possibly something I could use in editing for my project.
