List of Choices/ Ideas:
Series:
- Friends
- Black Mirror
- Money Heist
- The office
Con with TV series: It would be difficult if there are a lot of seasons and episodes to watch- it would be too long to watch especially if the storyline is long. Also, it would be a disadvantage if I haven’t finished the series so a film would be a better option.
Side note: Even though this doesn’t expand the Friends series digitally, Cotton On (an Australian retailer) expanded ‘Friends’ to merchandise such as stationery, clothing and other products (Which target mainly youth to young adults.)

Reflection: I decided to go with Ratatouille in the end because not only is it one of my favourite films, but I realised that it has a bigger audience. Although it is old, it is still mentioned around till this day. In terms of design and the animation, I think that there are quite a lot of possibilities to expand this film when it comes to intermedia design.

Lastly, the reason why I didn’t choose Room is because of the demographic. I really liked the storyline of the film as well as the film in general but the story is a bit sensitive in terms of the message behind the story. (For this story, it involves kidnap as well as rape which is quite sensitive and not a nice topic to think about.) Also, the story is rated R-Restricted.
