This is what I have so far for my Research Design Canvas focusing around the question and problem ‘How can I extend ratatouille.’ So far I think I’m on the right track and know what I’m looking for and possibly the methods I may want to explore. For now, I’m trying to find my potential users as well as find out what they/ fans of the film may want to see an expansion of the film.

- Who are my users and how can I find them?
- Will this be global, domestic or targeted to a specific location/Country?
- What are my assumptions about the potential users?
- What part of ratatouille resonates or is important to them?

- What can I do to improve or expand the Ratatouille experience?

Reflection: I think considering this is my first time doing this canvas, I think that these are some good research questions to ask myself, some might be repeating but I just wanted to get out any questions down in case I forget. But hopefully I will be able to develop these questions too along the way. My questions really feel like my research might be heading towards a quantitive research as I want to gather numbers to see how many people want to see a certain expansion and or if there are any similarities. but then again can be qualitative as I am trying to focus on a certain age demographic of fans ( being more specific.)

Sample/Context:
- I will survey, create questionnaires and possibly do focus groups to understand my potential users.
- Time Frame: During the method testing and data gathering phase.
- Focus on a certain age demographic? (mainly youth-young adult as this age range liked this movie more which I discovered through my instagram poll.)
- Possibly out of the people that did the poll, pick a few from each age range to get more insight/ do further research.
- The people I would be talking too will be fans of the film.

- Observation (But not super sure about this method for my research.)
Reflection: I think these might be some of the methods that I would like to use for my research as it is a quicker approach (some) and gets results faster. Also, considering the pandemic that is happening, it feels more efficient as I can do these methods online as well.
Assumptions/Paradigm:
(Side note: Things yet to do and figure out is the theory and concepts, my source of literature, observations and arguments. I will probably need to ask Nivia for with this to understand better.)
