Poem Type Video: (Week 10)

For one of the tasks that were put out for us to do this week, was a type poem video to see how our poem looks and sounds like alongside our typeface. For my poem video, I had decided to put in a few of my illustrations into it as well to really test and examine whether my illustrations work well with the poem and typeface. Moreover, I wanted to see whether my illustrations also communicate my concept and ideas about my place.

Reflection: I think that it was quite interesting seeing how my typeface, illustrations and poem looked together as a piece. I’m quite pleased with how this came out, maybe just a few refinements with my illustrations but other then that I think that all my elements worked well together had showcased the physical aspects of my place, as well as the more abstract concepts too.

(Reminder: When I say physical aspect, I’m talking about the natural environment of the place e.g leaves, trees etc. Whereas the abstract concept is to do with anxiety, worries/stress and how it can be reduced by nature.)
